Does anyone know if it is? The Origianl Metal Gear Solid came out for the PC soon after the PS One release. I haven't seen anything if they are going to do the same for MGS2?! And acording to everything I've seen for MGS2: Substance, Substance is going to be released for windows at the same time as PS2?

Any info anyone?

I read at one of the news sites that a version was coming to the PC. It's supposed to have a few extra levels too. No links on hand, though, sorry.

Yup. I saw a preview for it somewhere online (AAHH, but where?!) -- it also comes with brand new VR missions, too.

I think you might be thinking about the expansion for MGS2 called Substance.

Here's a vid

It has the VR missions and Tony Hawk stuff and ITS comming to PC but I don't know (and want to know) if Sons of liberty is part of that or is coming out separately

Substance is:

MGS2
+Snake Tales
+VR Missions

right?

Should say that in the video...Think it goes to the Xbox also.

I *really* don't mean to crap in your thread, but:

Am I the only person who didn't like this game? I was all kinds of excited about getting it, but then the plot . . . well, the plot sucked butt. It was fantastically complicated for no good reason. One of the last cutscenes lasted about an hour and I wanted to go to sleep. Oh, and I wanted to beat the main character with a two-by-four repeatedly for being so stupid (same with his girlfriend).

I also read it was coming to the PC, skateboards included.

and in-game footage to show off this reworked and expanded version of their PS2 hit game that will now also branch out to PC and Xbox
from Blues. Not an expansion, but the original game+more

Almost everygame thats of any worth that comes out on consoles come to PC.... EVENTUALLY. It may take a while but they do. PCs are the ULTIMATE gaming system. All consoles are basically PCs anyway so its simple to open up the market to a few more players and make some more money. Now there are a few exceptions and I'm hoping that Sons of Liberty isn't one of them. Halo is also supposed to come to PC soon. I know this for sure.

thats not really craping... I also hear that it sucked as well. Not really the game but the end scene. I've heard that the ending storyline is really bad/confusing but I still want to play it :)

I am gonna have to agree here. After I beat it, I was left with the feeling...."That wasn't Metal Gear that I am used to..in fact, that sucked!" I was unhappy with the result, even though I played through it. I can't really give reasons without giving plot away, so I'll end here.
