Yea.
WMP11 is the best WMP to date.
Now I use WMP11 for stuff like music and some video, but for DVD's and mkv's and ogm's, and such I use Media Player Classic.
All you really need is this:

Comes with all the codecs, MPC, ffdshow, and everything else you need.
One stop shop.
Pretty heavy in not letting users strip DRM out of protected files?Originally posted by: wanderer27
My Stepson tried it and didn't like it. Don't remember why exactly - I seem to recall it's supposedly pretty heavy handed in the DRM department though.
You shouldn't need Real Player anymore. I uninstall that system hog from friends and family computers that have gotten sluggish (after removing spyware, etc.).Originally posted by: andrewbabcock
I use vlc as my primary player and wmp 11 as a backup lol. I've never seen any player like vlc before in my life. Unfortuneatly, i still have to have realplayer for rm files and such. Real is pretty ghey
