not the schools we go to today though... I remember a big article in my newspaper awhile ago, where a reporter went to a school dance i guess disguised as a chaperone. They were appalled that kids were freakin on the dance floor, describing it as "almost having sex."Originally posted by: Dead Parrot Sketch

wrong messages 4 sure. Think if you had a daughter.

Parents don't realize how bad schools are. If your kid is in public school, by the time he's a sophomore in high school, he's going to have been exposed to every single swear word and every single sex term available to man kind. I hear the F word about 75 times a day just walking down the hallway inbetween classes (granted, 10 of those probably come from my mouth ) and the hallways sometimes sound like a live porno. I live in a wealthy area, with 99% of our school consisting of whites, asians, indians, or europeans, so I'd imagine a so called "ghetto" school would be even worse. Maxim, morally I guess, is wrong, but if you think a chid is going to learn "inappropriate stuff" from Maxim or a magazine like it, then you're just plain ignorant to what our society has already become.
who reads Cosmo. Yes, that's clean, straightforward education there

If your mom's one of those religious fundamentalist nutballs, then she'll probably thing that it's not appropriate (she'll probably be afraid that your looking at it could lead to dancing..)
But it's harmless.
