I consider it stillborn based on the premise that you have to pay to get interoperability with consoles for a VERY limited title set. If interop was free (silver) then I would happily use it.

Unfortunately, no, it is not dead, though that would be a sweet mercy upon the world.

It will most likely have some nefarious purpose in the upcoming PC game alliance requirements.
