i too think it was rather boring. The dark humor didn't hit me quite well (the door falling off, the horn going off). I enjoy the conversation, the 9-habit-obsessed dad and the son who simply couldn't careless. The ending was charming, but that's about it. 7.0/10.
 
Overhyped. A couple of funny parts. I can't believe the Grandpa won an oscar for the part he played. He wasn't that good to begin with, and he was only in about a quarter of the movie.
 
Just watched it tonight -- liked it, but certainly not the best movie I've seen in a long time or anythng.

Pretty hard to believe Grandpa got an Oscar for that.
