Probably not. I've tried them and they're fun for a couple of minutes and then that all goes away. Anybody who has a real genuine problem with bad breath almost definitely has the root cause based in excess bacteria on their tongue (that white crap). This can be removed only by scraping and then a chlorine dioxide solution. I've tried all of the gimics on bad breath and if your bad breath is caused by the tongue bacteria (as mine is and many peoples is but they simply don't realize it), all of these masking products and regular mouthwashes do nothing but cover up the bad smell for a few minutes.

EDIT: In regards to where to get this stuff www.smilekiss.com is not only cheap but also very fast at shipping. The link listed below is great for information and sells the same stuff from smilekiss but buy from smilekiss - their prices are much better. I've been using the mouthwash for a few weeks. Unfortunately I've not really been able to give it any direct testing (like asking somebody if my mouth smells like a rhino's ass after 30 minutes, which it normally would). Once this stuff is out I'm going to buy more and also the chlorine dioxide mouthwash. Always scrape!! BTW a large mouthwash container shipped is about $16-17 from smilekiss

If you have a bad breath problem, try picking up a tongue scrapper at a drugstore. Use it two to three times a day and your breath (assuming you also brush) will be constantly fresh! Major cause of bad breath is the crud created by bacteria on your tongue. No amount of brushing, flossing, or mouthwash using will remove this crud unless you physically scrape it off.

True - are these really that good? I've seen them but it seems that they are too blunt to really scrape much. Personally I've been using a blade for years (on my swiss army knife) because it's extremely sharp and scrapes decently...

Also things that give even an angel a rotten mouth:
- coffee
- beer (I know you can't tell when you're drunk but your mouth resembles a septic tank)
- dairy products (ice cream especially)
