None of their parts are in stock for promedia, I was an idiot and didn't buy a replacement "ProMedia 2.1 Control Pod Part" back when I needed it.

Klipsch made some awesome speakers, shame if Audiovox bought them as i bet they'll cheapen their products now

I am still pissed off that Klipsch bought API and moved all manufacturing out of Toronto. API made Mirage, Energy, Spherez, Sound Dynamics, and Athena Speakers.

So will they have a big sale of some of there stuff?
If you are looking for a good deal buy a pair of Energy RC-50's

Normally $700 each on closeout for around $270 each.

Never heard them myself, but lots of positive comments on the web about them. Thought about getting a pair before I bought the MartinLogan Sources on closeout at $672 each.

I like Energy speakers. Particularly the Connoisseur line

Let me run out to my white van, I've got some speakers that I can give you a great deal on.

Yeah I've got some "Polka" Hungarian speakers for sale, that kind of, sort of sound sometimes like Klipsch speakers, for sale cheap. :whiste:

ummm go look for yourself 😛

slickdeal.net is a great place to start your search.
Newegg has some great deals at times too.

I do too. For as much crap as I give you Canadians you sure do know how to make speakers!

<- very happy PSB owner
The pattern seems to be:

1. Design and build good speakers in Canada, yet 'miraculously' not be overpriced
2. Develop a reputation for quality and value
3. Get bought out by multinational company
4. Move production to China
5. Sell crap at high profits until your reputation runs out.

Repeat.

back on topic 🙂

my replacement control pod came in the mail today, and it has a redesigned D-PIN that appears to be more sturdy and is easier to tell where it plugs in at (now its an elbow instead of a straight shot)

2.1 promedia BACK IN WORKING CONDITION!!
