Yes it is, I had the same problem. So either forward the ports for bluster or make yourself the DMZ host

I'm all about Blubster. The new beta is even better. This program could be the first MP3 program to reach Napster/AG popularity without being shut down. Its just as fast and reliable, except this one is 100% decentralized. It just needs more people. But with about 1/20th the # of users than KaZaa, it has way more MP3's already.

Link here for blubster.

Direct Connect. But that's only cuz I'm in a Private Hub with people that share the EXACT same music tastes.

But reading this thread makes me kind of depressed. I wish there was ONE program that EVERYONE used, ya kno? Like Napster. Since it was the first thing out there, everyone was on it. And now, we got all these different programs, TEARING us away from each other :p

Anywho, I like WinMX. It's good if you can past the "queuing" and stuff, almost everything on there.

Kazaa is only good, in my opinion, for short video clips. That's the only reason I've ever used it. But, Kazaa_Lite is what you need.

Aight, my $.02.

Kazaa comes with an embedded trojan virus, the brilliant trojan. Have fun kids watching your 'puter crawl and hand out your private info to anyone and everyone who wants it.

You guys will never learn.

I just installed Blubster b2.0. It's a good program! Good search results with high bit-rate mp3s and really good download speeds (right now getting over 120k/sec). My only gripe: When I put "U2" into the Artist search field, it doesn't do anything!

Edit: The program is worth keeping and worth replacing Kazaa for music.

Just did a few searches in Blubster.

85-90% of the stuff found was 128kbs or lower. About the same as KL.

Yep. The fasttrack network is great, but it's not always straighforward to find stuff with all the sorrounding noise.

Hence the need for Sig2dat and sites like Fasttrackmovies.com
