I felt a little shocked when I found out... but thats it. I generally dont' give a rats ass about people I don't know, but I did appreciate the magnitude of 9.11.

Some people simply do not feel pain or remorse or any emotions about people they do not know. Others do.

How do I eat that cookie? I see people offering them in various threads, and I like eating cookies. It stands to reason that I'd like to consume these cookies.

And others convince themselves they do so as to avoid being chastised by their peers.

But I felt nothing.

P.S when I said deeply affected, I mean emotionally. I don't know anyone harmed or killed.

Don't worry man. I wouldn't feel anything either if a plane crashed into your house and killed your family. :)

That was uncalled for. You sound like a young kid that's unable to control his emotions.

Hey, I'm not getting emotional at all. That's basically what the OP was saying. I'm not wishing anything bad on him, just giving him a heads up. Hey, I don't know him, right. Is it wrong for me not to feel anything?
