Average run of the mill movie. Nice things blowing up, good uhhh, scenery, but horrible usage of hacker stuff. Who the hell designs a 3d environment to hack in (ala Hackers?). At least the matrix got it right by neo using unix.

I thought the movie was great... Think about what the director had to work with (Mr. Battfield Earth himself)

Movie had some incredible effects, probably the only time other than the matrix where the bullet time scene actually looked good.

Halle Berry was ok, but not worth renting if all you want to do is see her. As a whole though, I thought it was definitely worth my movie ticket and then also the DVD when it came out.

Although, I will say that it is either the good or the bad guys winning...

Of course the cool thing about the plot is that the line between good and bad is very blurry.

It's a great fantasy movie for geeks. In their world, geeks look like Hugh Jackman, wear designer clothes, get sucked by hot blondes, go to hollywood parties, and get $10 million.

I really liked the movie...saw it twice in fact ;-) Some of my friends I dragged to the second movie didn't enjoy it too much, but they were complaning about how it was unrealistic for the guy to be coding using a virtual 3D environment...LMAO

Try Dracula 2000. Jeri Ryan (7of9--StarTrek) is in that one, as is Jennifer Esposito.
Movie is just lukewarm, the idea they had could have worked good though-- if they pushed it harder.
