FX, no, Dual Core, no, All i have now is worth buying a 3800+ or 4000+. With M2 nearing its launch, should i buy a high end motherboard and a 3800+ ?

I almost never worth waiting. The batch of stuff is almost always flacky and overpriced.
So unless your willing to wait 4 month after it is released it best just get wait you want now. 939 will be supported for long time to come and is very stable, with low prices.

well, M2 wont really be much different. just the DDR2 memory controller, the increased HTT bus. i doubt it will really be that much better.

It's true, M2's 940 pin while socket 939...

I'm thinking besides the 1st generation bugs to iron out, you get a faster HTT at the expense of the DDR2's higher latencies.
