Is it worth upgrading to the ATI Mobility 9800 from the 9700?

I have a Dell Inspiron XPS with the ATI Mobility 9700. I would like input on the practival value of upgrading to the 9800 mobility. Upgrading would cost $349 and would include a warranty covered installation by a Dell technician.

What do you guys think? I have no trouble playing any game at this point. Should I wait until the next ATI mobility card or move into the 9800?

350 for a 9800 compared to a 9700??!!?!? HELL NO!!!! wait till the next gen cards come out. There is barely a difference between those cards.

Except for some reason I am thinking the back of my mind that the 9800 series mobility cards are based off of x800's. If so it might be okay, but if you are having no trouble right now with games I woudl leave it be and wait it out for either a price drop or new generation.

I can't rightly say what I'd pay for installation as I wouldn't, but what are the charging you for the card itself?

There is no charge for the installation. It's part of the Dell at home warranty I purchased for the laptop. Dell does not want you cracking open the laptop, so they send a tech to do the installation update drivers, test, etc.
