Is it worth it..

I drive an SUV, and I kind of want to add some mods to it.

Mods in mind:
20" Wheels (currently has 18")
Aluminum Running Boards
Dual Exhaust Tips -Each Side
HID FOGS
Body Kit (factory kit)

-That would probably run me around $4,500-5,500

or should I just keep the car stock? That amount would significantly cut back on my going out and having fun money. I'll probably be doing very few if any of that.

I dont see the point of hooking up a suv, it's not going to win any races compared to a regular sedan, couple or roadster. The only thing I'd do is maybe get new rims. I think you can make a SUV look nice, but it's not going to be a rice rocket...

If it's a full size suv go with 22's cause 20's are a bit too small. Running boards are fine. Leave the exhaust stock. Going dual when it came single looks tacky. No need for hid fogs either. Stay away from body kits too.

It does. Even the 3.0 has a dual exhaust although it's hidden. The 4.4 and the 4.6 and the 4.8 have visible dual exhuasts with 2 pipes on each side for a total of 4.
