Is it worth it to buy an Xbox 360?

I've come to terms with the fact that I wont be able to afford a new computer for a while, and im wondering whether or not I should check out getting a PS3 or Xbox 360... I can't figure whether to do that or just wait until the new PC hardware comes out and try a budget build then.

What would you guys do?

With how expensive the games are, if you plan on buying a lot of them you'd be better off to build a new computer, IMO.

Which do you enjoy gaming on more, pc or console? If pc is your answer, then go for that.

If you choose consoles, it's really up to the games you like. Look at the titles for the 360 and ps3, both present and future releases, and decide. The reason I say to look at the games is because you will get all sorts of opinions on the hardware itself, and it might confuse you further.Personally I own a 360 and am very satisfied with it. But I have friends who have ps3s and say the same.
