MX1000 is pure luxury and I love it. You could go years not knowing what you're missing, but allow me to say that I would never go back to a crappier mouse.

I've got an MX510 and you'll have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.

I used to be an AVID Microsoft mouse fanboi. Not any more. Well worth the $40 I paid for it. I probably won't consider another MS mouse again.

Another vote for the MX1000. Took me a bit to get used to the button placement compared to my old IntelliMouse, but its definately worth it.

hows battery life?

the MX 1000 is a great mouse. BAttery life is excellent. In fact, I hardly ever even think about the battery. I charge it maybe once or twice a week, and use it 4-5 hours a day. Has a great display showing battery life.
It is also very accurate, and extremely ergonomic as well, at least if you are right handed :)

Just get it, you will NOT regret buying the mouse. I absolutely LOVE it, and wouldn't trade it for any other mouse.
On top of everything, it is wireless with great range.
Take our advice and get it, you will thank us later.

Thanks guys, I went to staples and used a Office Deopt 25 off 75 coupon to get the mx1000 for $35 AR.

They said they had couldn't combine deals even if I bought 75 dollars worth of stuff since the mouse is already on clearence, which is usually not the case, but im glad they accepted the OD online coupon. They put the mouse at the regular price then took 25 bucks off, so i save 5 bucks. Guess it all depends on the store becasue this one guy in HD got it for $ 15 useing the same method.

Anyways, I have nothing to complain about becasue $35 for a mx 1000 is awesome. Gonna try it tomorrow as I just got bf2 for $35 and my video card RMA comes tommorw. Time to get my head blown of in bf2 now :)

my issue with these mice is that they do not really support lefties :p

i use a righty mouse, but i like the older mice that don't have funky curves on one side. such mice are geared more to the right handed community, and rightfully (no pun intended) so. i'd love to find a laser cordless mouse that is super cool and affordable and is not one-sided (symmetrical curvature all around)

the thing closest for you is probably the razer diamondback one.
