I've decided that I spend too much time online.
I currently live with my parents who have cable internet, and the next place I move to I plan on not having internet there.
I will simply use it at the library where internet usage is limited to 1 hour a day.
Ironically most of my work experience has been in the IT field. I have worked helpdesk and desktop support, and at the moment I'm currently trying to find another job because my last IT contract just expired.
I've thought about continuing down the IT path, but I'm wondering how wise that is. Not being able to use the internet at home will effect my learning curve for IT stuff. Also I wouldnt want to be hanging around at work spending too much time on the internet after my shift ended or anything like that.
Thoughts?
EDIT: someone asked:
"What if you ever have to dial in?"
my response: hopefully I'll work in a position that doesnt have that kind of a responsibility. or I could just drive to work and do stuff there.
