Is it weird that a guy never stands up to take a leak?

He leaves the bathroom door open while pissing/showering? You don't find THAT to be odd?

I think it's weird he even posted about it. If it bothers you that much why don't you just ask him?

can you imagine how weird that convo would be ? :Q

true, but he's been living with the guy for seven months. one morning open the bathroom door, look at the shower head, turn around and say "okay, wtf. why do you always move the shower head?"

And make sure you say the letters in 'wtf' and not the words.

of course.

Maybe he doesn't like having people hear him pee, so he either sits down and pees against the side of the bowl or stands up and pees against the side of the bowl... it's possible to pee quietly without sitting down.

Or are you saying you can hear him put the seat down?

Yeah you hear the seat slam when he goes in there. The other roommates have brought it up once in awhile too (one is directly below that washroom in the lower level, another on the other side of the washroom). One of them purposely leaves it up (we're all guys here) to see if it ends up down.

Knew a guy from highschool who didn't stand to take a leak. His mom didn't like the fact that men splash. Don't know if the father had to sit also. A lot of people thought he was a little femine.

He grew up in a house full of women and leaving the seat up was a punishable offense

He has a PA and if he doesn't sit he goes off like a sprinkling can

He enjoys the feeling of it hanging down into the cold water

I usually piss on the downward slope on the inside of the bowl, just above the water line. Why? I don't know, but it doesn't make much noise. I guess I like to test my accuracy or something.

3pgs I figured somebody beat me to it...

maybe he just know's your wall is really thin and assumes (wrongly) that you don't want to hear him pee...

As for the shower thing, I tend to move the head arround quite a bit when I take a shower, I usually leave it pointing towards the far end of the tub, because it's easier for me to soap up when the stream shooting out above my head, I would explain this as simple logistics...

You're probably reading too much into it, and it's none of your buisness anyway...

Let me understand this.

You cannot hear the urine hitting the water, so you assume he sits down to pee? WTF?

I am perfectly able to stand up and not make a sound when I go... it's called adjusting your aim. The fact that this becomes such an issue you decide to post about it on ATOT, quite frankly, is the most disturbing part of this.

Every guy pisses differently.
So what if this guy pisses sitting down. It's his business.
If I had you as a roommate, I'd lock the bathroom. :disgust:
Like someone else said earlier,
No offense, but the fact that you started a thread about this in AnandTech makes me wonder why your so interested in his urinating and shower habits 😕
