Is it weird that a guy never stands up to take a leak?

I've been living with this roommate for seven months now. My room is beside the bathroom (paper-thin wall so all the sound echoes) and I've noticed that he has never -once- stood up to take a leak. I just find this is really weird. Is it common? Does anyone else do this?

Also, I find that in the shower he moves the shower head into the rightmost corner like he is "hiding" in there or something. Constantly have to re-adjust it everyday.

I almost think he may have been abused. (This isn't a joke).

Maybe he's freaked out because you watch him shower and take a piss.

 
Maybe he has poor stream control and doesn'twanna piss all over the place. Either way, it sure beats him leaving a mess.
 
I think a better question is, WTF are you watching your roommate take a leak. Sorry, sitting on the toliet is a lot less weird than that.
 
Eh I don't look you asshats. My room is right beside the washroom and it'd be impossible to NOT hear it. I constantly hear everyone else use it.

So how do you know if he is sitting or standing and how in the hell do you know about his shower habits?

Because, you know, with a cheap wall you'd hear someone going?

And I have to re-adjust the shower head daily as it was going straight into the corner and the tiles began to fall off.

Maybe he wears one of the suits from Dune under his jeans? You know, the ones that recycle your water so you don't have to piss.
 
At home [i mean when i was a kid], i wasn't supposed to stand while taking a leak, since it causes splashing, & mom didn't like to have to clean more often.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case with your roomie.
 
maybe he likes to sit and maybe he doesnt want water to get all over the floor so he moves it closer to the wall?

the piss thing is weird, but I've known a couple guys who only piss while sitting down. some were just weird, and one had a really small penis. like, almost inverted :Q

the shower thing is also weird, and I can offer no possible explanation for it 😕
