Is seems like every year the number of political commercials just grows and grows. I was watching the news this morning and both commercial breaks were nothing but political commercials. The truth is so distorted they might as well do this:

"Mr X kicks babies and puppies. Call him and tell him you don't like that"

"Mrs Y kills old people and harvests their organs. Can you really trust her to look after your grandparents?"

We have another week of this political nonsense. Unless you have a million dollars your voice isn't even counted.

I normally just vote everyone out, but now the new guys are just as annoying as the ones already in office so I'm at a loss as who to vote for.

AND I APPROVED THIS MESSAGE.

It's unbearable. If I see Terri Lynn Land in another commercial (positive or negative), I'm going to explode.

It's horrible here in CT. More than half the ads seem to be by groups "not assocaited" with either candidate, or so they claim. Can't wait until Wed either.

"Not intended to be a factual statement."

Meanwhile, incumbency rates in Congress tend to be around 90%.

"Congress sucks. Every last person in there is corrupt and worthless. Except for my Congressman. He really genuinely cares about my needs!"

In the absence of an option for "These choices are all terrible. Please try again in 2 weeks." there's at least an option to do a write-in.
At least you don't have to live with the guilt of knowing that you helped elect <dickweed politician> into office.
