Hm, for a misplaced game? i'm not too sure... i do know if your CD breaks or something, that most company would replace the CD if you send them the broken CD.
Ive done it before, I lost a CD to some very expensive software (that i didnt purchase ) and the I called the company and since I had registered it, they sent me another copy for like 2 dollars. Always register your software!!!!
Got my copy of WordPerfect 8 replaced when I "misplaced it" a few years back. Good thing I registered and all I had to do was call them. Read your EULA (End User License Agreement; like anybody does ) to see if it is replaceable. Got it in the mail 3 days later free shipping.
If I smash my brand new 4Runner in the tree, and even although I still have title and registration for the car, do I get a replacement car from Toyota? Just a thought.....

You jsut get the money from your insurance.
I had a car burn up while I was driving. Got more than I shouldv cuz they couldn't get the mileage on it. My mechanic had removed records of working on my car as well. Laughed my a$$ off when he did that. But also got some money from the manufacturer. Can't beat that. Now that was one smoking hot deal!
