My boot times (to desktop) with win2000 are fast, no network though.

I would say 35-40 seconds tops.

According to BootLogAnalyzer, Win98SE boots in 15 seconds. Post takes about 12 seconds. Total to be up and running, less time for the Win2K boot menu, is around 30 seconds.

Timed, BootLogAnalyzer seems to be correct.

Slower than BX for sure. Where exactly? Well shutdown is longer and post is longer. After that I dont notice much of a difference. Shutdown is so long sometimes it gets annoying. The new bios has fixed that though for me. The shutdown time has been cut in half. Of course this new bios has added new problems that I did not have before. :(

Funny, seems not long ago people were complaining that the board shut Windows down TOO fast... :p

My system boots/shuts down pretty fast at the moment. As soon as I reinstall Norton Antivirus, however, that will all change...
