chicken pox one time in their entire life time?
well I never thought I get it but at age 18 well
I was close to someone who had chicken pox. so suddenly I start to develop it as well. the experiences I tell you is horrible, you feel like you're in hell, burning everywhere in your body. I started having hallucination as well because in my house i hear footstep and someone banging on the door. I was freaked out I got up look around no one there. for 2 week it was a struggle between life and death for me oh I never forget this taught me life can be so short sometime. I didn't think i took any tylenol either or any medicine at all to help cope with this disease. oh i can tell you my head hurt so much I can feel pain all over, pimple red dot all over my body and head too.
for 2 week that a little too long huh?
it funny how I have a fever and a cold at the same time so taking cold bath actually is very difficult and I get even more sick.
for some reason I'm not feeling too good now...
I guess i go take some medicine I think I got a fever.

Mmm. It generally is worse if you get those so-called childhood diseases during your teenage years or later. I had the mumps at 17 and my parents were told that it could leave me sterile. I've been lucky enough to never had found out if this indeed happened.

I remember when I had the chicken pox. It sucked. My parents are evil. They sent me to my friend's house up the street because his sister had it so I would catch it. Bastards! I was only like 5 years old.

I had chicken pox when I was 7. I got the FULL DEAL. Was covered from head to toe, and man, that was hell. I still have a few scars on my leg where I scratched em.

I got it around 5 or 6. I remember my little brother, 4, had them at the same time because of me probably. It wasn't that bad, almost felt like poison ivy to me.

There was a south park where the parents tried to get the kids to all go over another's house who had chicken pox.. it's pretty damn funny :)

The best was my mom told my brother and I to not go in the sun, so to piss my brother off I'd throw his bigwheel or bike into the sun and he was scared to go and get it :D hehe

I had it, my brother had it at the same time too. He scratched, I didn't. I didn't complain, I hardly found it annoying and it went away after about a week, woohoo.

I may not be totally accurate so don't flip if I'm not.

I thought there was no vaccination for C.P. because the virus that causes it is always changing? (like you can't get an AIDS vaccination). Like the flu I thought you could get a vaccine but it would get outdated soon because it would mutate to a different type of C.P. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

dont think I wanna catch again thought the reason I got it last time because I was right next to someone who had it... yeap some people in the past has died from chicken pox because their immune system is weak? you're right the older you have it the stronger the chicken pox is just imagine being 40 catching this pox and maybe put you out for 1 month? man it wasn't fun at all, I had hallucination, nervous breakdown as well, and high fever, and cold, and flu everything all at the same time.yesterday I sorta feel like that too after eatting too much french fries... mday there is no way to catch it twice, unless it a different kind of disease your body has already developed anti biotic vs chicken pox it already knows the pattern by now.

it true that some people never catch any chicken pox some that is maybe 5 out of 10?! perhap it is best to stay away from those who had it jesus christ why the person who have it is going around place to give it to someone else I find it the fault of the carrier of the disease being irresponsible. my sister's friend came over she had chicken pox and gave them to me argh!!! My sister caught it too when she was only 12 from another friend of her then 5 year later she brought this stupid friend of her over to our house with chicken pox... she told me ya going to get it sooner or later anyway...ridiculous...if you never have any chicken pox stay far away from anyone that has it, I mean you can get it the next day. her friend has chicken pox and goes around all over the place spreading the disease. i hate people that do that their out of their mind.

NFS4,

I've been working (actually more like playing) all my life at having fun without having kids. Since I have been so successful, I might as well be sterile and not know. I ain't gonna make a deposit at a sperm bank just to find out.

Tossing off for money? Yuck, I ain't that poor.

Seeing as how you are having hallucination for free, I think some people are feeling cheated seeing as how they pay large amounts of money to have hallucination.

I had it when I was nine. You can have it twice if you have a mild case. My nephew had it at the same time I did and got it again later. It can be deadly today to adults, but death form chickenpox is rare. They are called childhood diseases for a good reason. Most people get them when they are children, and you might want to get vaccinated for chickenpox when you turn 18. I would like to say that you don't have to scratch to spread chickenpox to other parts of your body. You can touch a pox and spread it everywhere on you touch!!!

I'm 18 and never had it. Scary because when I was 6 my (then) 3 year old brother had it and we shared a room. I never got it. Another time when I was 8 my cousin got it and I was sent over there to play. Still didn't get it. I think I'm a mutant. I have a natural Chicken Pox immunitity. ;-) (now I'll probably catch the sh*t next week for opening my big mouth)
