Stop it, you're killing me.

EDIT: No seriously you can only get the refunds if you file your late taxes.

Dont they have some kind of service for the mentally handicapped so OP doesn't have to do it himself?

you can go to officialpayments.com, if you make a minimum tax payment of $1, you will get an automatic extension. they charge a fee for it but it's painless to do. you also have to estimate how much total you owe, but you don't have to pay in full

if theIRS owes you,, you don't have to file on time. don't worry about it and turn it in when you can, the gov't is happy to make interest on your money and will not fine you

I just sent the payment of a dollar. Stupid gmail, gogo.. wanna see if it actually processed.. and the first email I see is 'Grandpa seducing girl'... man their server must be getting HAMMERED.

You wait till 1 hour before midnight on April 15th before thinking about filing a tax return?

I'm stuck at work until about 3 AM because of people like this.

you work in the post office?

I doubt they let you work OT in the post office. There's a night shift.

probably an exception on Tax Day, I bet the number of people going is like a good 4-5x as many as a normal day. Americans are procrastinators, I went to Best Buy on Xmas Eve one year and the check out line was almost around the whole store lol. The Post Office is slow when it's a regular amount of people. Tonight it's gonna be hellish there.
