Why remake it? Just re-release it.

Or the IP owner could reduce the payments on it so that every TV channel could affort to run it a dozen times a year. SPIKE and USA sometimes run the same movie a dozen times in a month. Similar principle.

it's been a long time since I saw Gandhi.

did it spend some time showing the 6-12 year-old boys that he would bed every night?

that's the kind of Gandhi movie that needs to be made. ...talk about his greatness (which is obvious), and show the evil motherfucker that he was away from the media. that's a real thought-provoking movie.
