Is it something in the water, or the environment?

I'm curious of something. Not sure if it's just because of the way people are lately, or if it's something in the water/environment lately, but I've been getting very irratable and easily annoyed lately. Perminently grouchy is what it feels like. Not sure what to say. It's driving me up a wall. Heck, just a little while ago I had to apologize to one of my employees after ripping his head off for a small error he had on one of the PO forms. I hate it personally, but I've found myself becoming angry too easily lately. Anyone else seeing this trend? My thread about the annoying guy earlier probubly was a good hint towards that. I can't say that there's any one thing in my life that would be setting me off. Just probubly lots of little things all adding up. I'm normally a nice, kind, friendly person, but as of late I've been a regular prick. This getting mad so easily thing is really starting to tick me off. (rant, fume, rant. opps. hehe.)

Anyone else feeling this way? Are you finding yourself easily annoyed or fast to anger? And no, I don't need to see a shrink. I just need to get some bikini...er, beach time in the Bahama's soon. :D

Well it could be attributed to the rise in hormone activity in the spring time. The sun comes out and agitates hormones somehow and causes them to act out more. You can overcome this with self control though :)

Hormones don't really get "agitated."
If the temperature is rising and it's getting sunnier, more testosterone is produced, but I don't think that's the case.

LordRaiden, if you've noticed this behavior in a widespread amount of people besides yourself, you might have some sort of valid reasoning. My guess is that you need to work off some stress. Get out more, go work out, get laid, or whatever it is you do to unwind.

I do my martial arts kata's and Tai Chi to unwind. But even that doesn't seem to be helping lately.

I think hectic work + longer commutes + crappy diet + little/no exercise = cranky people.

I'm pretty unflappable most of the time since I'm usually so full of endorphins from all the cycling I do. Go get some exercise, a shower and a good meal.....your outlook will improve.
