Is it some type of psycho marketing trick?

I'm enjoying a delicious Mounds bar with the dark chocolate and coconut. And, as I think everytime I eat a Mounds bar, I think "Why don't they put almonds in Mounds bars or use dark chocolate for Almond Joys? It is so obvious.

Enforced flavor segregation is a lingering relic of our backward and shameful past, but these days, the darky cho-cho is everywhere, and I'm loving me some.

Some bars score 80% on the negritude scale. This used to be illegal in many southern states.

Gone are the days, my friend, when lovers of the hard core dark used to found skulking around the bakery section of Supermarkets late at night picking up the uncut baker's stuff for baking . . . yeah, that's right, officer, for baking. <shifty eyes>

70% cocoa dark chocolate by Lindt and 72% cocoa mint dark chocolate by Ghirardelli or are my favorite chocolates because they're cheap, easily obtainable, and tastes\ great. You know what sucks? Cadbury chocolate. So damn sweet, it's disgusting.

Shens. Mounds is utter crap. I have never seen more fucking fail in a candy bar than Mounds.

Dark chocolate is bitter and nasty. Milk chocolate is smooth and satisfying.

you eating some disgusting dark chocolate if it is bitter. Unless, bitter to you is chocolate that isn't disgustingly sweet and creamy.

So many 60% cacao chocolate bars are so smooth and delicious, it's like a little bit of a high that washes over you from the awesomeness of cacao.

There is some very bitter dark chocolate. And I don't eat it. But I've had some deliciously smooth 70% bars, and an 80% bar that wasn't too bitter.

After growing very fond of Lindt's dark chocolate bars (60% and +), I have trouble eating anything that's just regular milk chocolate. Especially any kind labeled as "creamy" or "rich". I feel like I need to choke down a glass of milk after each bite of those. I should be able to eat a few blocks of the chocolate with no problem (rarely do I eat a whole bar. with dark chocolate, it's all about moderation and making the deliciousness last at least a day).

*puke*

"Milk Chocolate" is absolute shit.

60%+ cacao or bust! Free-trade dark chocolate for bonus points!

OP, did you ever have those special edition Almond Joy that were out a few years ago? The coconut was piña colada flavored. Good stuff, but I only found them once. Last time I checked, you can get them online.

Milk and dark chocolate both have their place. To eat by itself or with nuts and dried fruit, dark is best. To eat with caramel or peanutbutter, milk is best.
