Are you saying that you have a panel off of your case? If so, I thought they was some concern about the "energy" or something given off by the computer.

i dont know anything about any "energy" given off...

everything emits E-M waves...the computer should be the least of your worries. the metal cases DO sort of act like a faraday cage in that they contain the fields, but your tv is probably just as bad if not worse...so if it keeps your cpu cool, keep the side off !

Just make sure your cat or any other furry animals don't decide to take a nap inside your case.
