Yea, good stuff. The egg yolks are damn good eating with a texture I can't find anywhere else. You gotta stay away from the egg whites though, that sh1t is too damn hard and flavorless to eat. The juice is also sweet and I prefer to eat the body but not the head. Most people would just eat the whole thing or eat nothing at all.

Flavor to taste with a salt, pepper, and lemon mix.
They eat that sh!t on Fear Factor.

Nasty!

Well, maybe its cuzz I'm Vietnamese, but balut eggs are sold in asian markets everywhere. Its one of those dishes that are actually considered a delicacy in some places around the world. Don't get me wrong though, that other sh1t the contestants have to eat is some nasty sh1t.

Would you like some thousand year old eggs. This chinaman gives 2 thumbs up.

Edit for more info.

Yes, the egg white is no longer white. It is charcoal to black transparent. The yolk looks like crystallized solid black. Taste = Yum.

Edit, now with pictars!

anyway, as for the eggs.. 4 days is nothing.

You will know if you open an egg and it is bad. Eat them.

lol yea, fear factor is funny. they also fed white people those black thousand year old? eggs. thats just a name obviously, they change color because they are soaked in tea and stuff i think. while i dont particularly like em, i've eaten em sometimes. i think of em like garlic, slightl flavoring to food, but biting a chunk is kinda ick:p

that reminds me, they had ostridge eggs on the last fear factor. too bad they dont sell those at the supermarket, an omlet would be neat.

EGG TEST

1. Put uncracked egg in container of water that goes deeper than the egg.

If egg floats, it's bad. If it's standing up on bottom, or not on bottom it's going bad.
If it goes to bottom, and lies down, it's good.

I learned this is because as it goes bad, air develops in the egg from the bacteria/process. So far it's worked for me.

You can probably validate this on google.

I just use the smell method.

1) Break egg

2) smell

If foul stench, go to 4.. if not, 5.

4) Garbage

5) Cook

I know, but just because it floats doesen't mean it's rancid. If it stinks, it's bad.

If you cook it, it's still edible.

JMHO. :)
