I bought some artichoke hummus from whole foods the other day and I was going to eat it but I see now that it's artichoke and spinach hummus, something I overlooked at the store.

spinach is on my spreadsheet of things not to eat because of salmonella poisoning.

I don't return things and this cost me $7 for a jar so I don't want to throw it away. Any suggestions, is it safe to take spinach off my spreadsheet of poisonous food?

Don't joke around with me this is serious...

I would not worry about it. And I say that with all the seriousness in the world as I am crazy-fanatical about food safety. Spinach has been safe for over a year now.

OP - you're a good damn ignorant tool. You do know the spinach problem was isolated to a single farm which has corrected the issue? Of course not, too busy chatting about designer denim.

I found another jar of garlic hummus.
