Losing weight is a matter of calories in vs calories out. If you are satisfied with how much the small portions fill you, then sure it's fine to eat. Also would depend on the bread and pasta. Are you having butter on the bread where it's going to add a crap load of calories? Is the pasta at least going to have chicken so that you don't lose muscle while cutting? Whole wheat or white? Etc.
