If you do get a Mac, make sure to wait until OS X.3 (Panther) is available so that it'll be bundled for free. I believe they are giving it out to anyone to purchases a machine now, but you'll have to pay a $20 shipping fee. Two weeks, or $20. Its up to you 🙂
 
DOA, Apple's probably retooling their line right now, so unless you go to an Apple Store and buy a machine they already have, anything you order should come with 10.3.
