Is it really fried?

Ok, I have an asus mobo (listed in my sig) and the other day it stopped booting. the onboard light will come on when plugged in and when the power button is pushed it will try for a split second to spin the fans (not long enough to turn the fan even 1/4 of a rotation). It is still under warranty, but I want to make sure it really is fried before going through the long, painful process of an RMA.

NOTE: Yes, I had moved it around and tested a fried processor on the board when it started acting up.

Is the power supply a good-quality brand, or a cheapie/freebie that came with a case? Also check the 115-volt / 230-volt selector switch on the rear of the power supply since it's possible to budge it out of position when moving the computer.

Sounds like the powersupply to me. Try another one if you can get your hands on it.

Only other PSU I have is in a shuttle The switch was in the correct position, and it's a 500watt one that came with the case...
