Is it REAL or is it a HOAX?

some of the questions are way too damned vague
for starters... the camel spider.. those are real camera spiders, and the question was only asking if they were camera spiders in iraq... u have to be aware of the original rumors to understand the question... the spiders exist, and those are camel spiders, but its depth of field perception/trickery that makes them look way bigger than they are. thank you vague question
another one was the cat. it could have been a mutation of some sort. large cats exist. question never said it was nuclear mutation. and the twin towers one. yea, the face was present. but do you feel it truely represents the devil or is it pure coincidence. question was way too vague.
i did good though 😀

I hate how they say the first picture is a hoax. It is a REAL picture, just that the perspective throws people off, indicating a larger insect, yet they say it's a hoax.

and yet, they say that the botfly picture is real, and the description associated w/ the picture is fake.

what the hell...

Yeah, I voted "real" based on perspective...I was mad enough about being wrong that I reloaded the quiz 😛

umm that spider looks about 7" long and it's a real picture depicting two camel spyders. I really don't understand what people see in this pic that's so unbelivable

9/10

The face in the smoke one got me, I know that the picture is real, but the way they worded the question made it sound like they were asking if it really was a face in it. I said hoax because it was a hoax email, not that the photo was fake. Got all the others right though 🙂

The camel spider pic is real. I don't care what they say. Its a real picture, just because they look bigger due to the photograph does not make it a hoax.

well yea, its a real picture.. but the hoax revolved around the rumors that it could run like 20mph and was the size of a dinner plate and dined on camels. all of which are false. they are about the size of a closed fist, can sprint but not nearly that fast, and do not dine on camels but rather adopted the name for their sand color.

they look big in the picture because of the telephoto effect. i incorrectly said depth of field earlier, when in reality its the telephoto effect that compresses the depth of field and makes the spiders look like they are being compared to what is behind it when in reality they are hanging a good distance in front.
