let's say i have a Dell AximTM X51v, is it possible for me to play movies, transfer files, or even share documents on the pda from the file server?

had anyone here actually use a pda to surf the internet?? do you exprience any type of problems such as missing plug-in software or so??

I belive all you can do in that respect is use your home internet connection to browse the web on the PDA or possibly sync via the network. So in a respect you can "share" stuff through syncing.

Webpages are different on the PDA's for the most part. Lots of text only pages for easier navigation.

If you have a Wireless Router and the PDA has one two you can use the PDA as any other Network computer (with the limitation of the PDA software).

Watching movies? If you have a Movie thatcan fit the screen resolution of the PDA.

IMHO, it is Not a Big "Joy" to use the Internet or watch video on a PDAs.

so i'll just have to set up a workgroup fo the pda right?

i notice there's Bluetooth and 802.11b, for pda

will bluetooth become handy for the pda? don't know if i'll ever use it, i kept seeing my friends taking their self phones and transferring things with their cell phone, it should be using bluetooth. will the pda communicate with cell phones?

last thing, is it possible to make a pda work with wired internet connection, example, adding an ethernet port, thanks
