Is it possible to sign up for gaming-related press releases?

I'm interested in signing up for a myriad of gaming-related press releases. Can anybody sign up for those, or do you have to request them specifically from each company, or what? Does anybody have any clue?

Thanks.

I had an account on there at one point, don't know if I still do anymore or not. I'm not sure how easily they give out accounts anymore either. i know you can get a premium account as well which will allow you to get vids/screenshots that you won't get for the free account.

Of course it's possible. Contact a PR rep at whichever company you're interested in and ask them to add your email address to their PR distribution list. :)

You can also go to a publisher's or developer's website and see if they have a press release section.

Yea, for instance info.ea.com has a lot of press information. Some, like Capcoms, requires you to register and the actually do a (breif) background check on who you are in the games industry.
