Is it possible to see if a recalled message in Outlook was read?

Is there a way for the email creator to see if the person they send the email that they later recall has actually viewed the email before it has been recalled?
 
Nope. Recall is a request to Outlook, if it gets processed great but you can't tell.

 
IIRC recalling messages only works with Exchange clients and if they read the message before the recall happens you'll get a recall failed message.
