It will probably give you an error. Depending on your BIOS/chip (I hope you're chipped) you can possibly edit the BIOS file to allow the system to boot without a harddrive. But don't take me 100%, just a possibility if I remember correctly. However with that said, wouldn't streaming anything need the HDD to cache the information?
