is it possible to round your floppy cables? if yes how?

Cut in between the wires with a razor, pull the wires apart, and then wrap it up.

I just did that to mine about a week ago, I just used a razor and carefully cut the cables into about 6 sections. Then I put them together and wrapped them in duct tape. It works, just be very, very careful not to cut into the actual wire.

A simple tip, just start to cut the wire at the top, then just "pull" the wire apart, that way it minimizes you cutting the cable.

Works great, I did it to mine about a week ago and then just zip-tied it every inch or so. I did it with my ata66 cables as well, but it made my system hiccup and not recognize my burner. If I ever get rounded ones for those, they won't be home-made. 🙂
