Is it possible to remove the 'help' entry from the start menu in WinXP?

no hack needed,it's allready in there.

right click on your start button & select properties, got start menu then click customize.
now go to the advanced tab and from there you can remove it. :)

What budman said.

Ironically you can look this up in the help menu. Should we expect some more rtfm posts out of you soon?

What about for those of us using the Classic View Start Menu? There doesn't seem to be an option there for the Help and Support thing. I hate clicking on it accidentally, then waiting, and waiting, and waiting while Windows seems to query every file in the known Universe before showing the Help window so I can close it.

Answered own question: Xteq's X-Setup
Appearance -> Start Menu -> Windows XP -> Classic Start Menu -> Visible Items
That was easy.

Thank you, Budman. :p
