or will this DEFINTILY stall the car?

If you do it really slowly, the car will gradually start to speed up and will reach a speed where you can take your foot entirely off the clutch without ever touching the gas or stalling. I have done it a few times for fun and it takes around 20-30 seconds.

Depends on how much your clutch is worn - a properly slipping clutch won't stall out :p

Yep. Just release it to the friction point, hold it there until you build up a little speed and release it all the way. The car will roll without gas.

Depends on car an skill level. My '93 lt1 and my '02 ls1 both at a stock idle of about 700 RPM will move out quite nicely with no slipage or stress.

I just realized I've never tried it without my AC on. AC bumps the idle rpm from 500 or 700 to 1000 rpm.
