It seems like today's environment you are labeled a bigot if you don't accept guys banging guys and I don't understand why.

That kind of behavior, in my opinion, is not something that should be accepted or celebrated. It should not be something that is protected by law. If you want to do things to guys in the darkness of your own bedroom then whatever, just keep it out of public spotlight. But it seems like today's environment promotes homosexuality, it seems like it is "cool" to be gay and like gay things. Since when did this become a thing?

I can't even believe it is a debatable thing. But I guess here we are. So...with all of that being said where do you stand ATOT? Why is this an OK thing in our society?

Clarification: Just to clarify before I get the witch-hunt out for me I'm not saying to castrate gays and burn them at the stake, I am simply saying why are we publicizing and glamorizing such an act? If you want to be gay be gay on your own time, out of the spotlight. Don't make it some sort of publicized thing that should be 'respected' because it shouldn't be.

I would not support special privileges for gays. Just equal rights. Of course I also support free speech. A group like the KKK can freely assemble and speak their mind all they want but doesn't mean society has to accept them. Gay haters and those who disagree with that orientation should be able to express their views as well.

Edit: Also many a Bible thumper believes god is real and cannot believe it is even debatable. That doesn't necessary mean it represents reality.

I'd think you would have to be very careful today. Post on Facebook that you oppose gay marriage, and you might be fired. I'd just keep those thoughts to myself.

Honestly, I just don't care what people do with each other when they're in bed. Who cares? Maybe it was my time in Thailand. I met so many wonderful transexuals that I just started looking at these people like human beings. I stopped caring that the girl I talked to was a ladyboy.

Life is too damn short. In 100 years we are all going to be dead anyway. So, live it up. Have many experiences. That's what makes life great.

Homosexuals don't need your acceptance, and you have no right to judge anyone, or comment on who they love and sleep with. Homosexuality is completely natural, just not as common as heterosexuality. Millions of years of evolution hasn't bred it out of humans or various animal species in which it occurs.

I can't believe I'm even replying to your hate and stupidity.

If you're not moving forward, you're moving backwards. Slavery used to be legal and then people were going when the hell did we start letting black people run around loose? Since the caveman days man has sought a higher plane of existence and this is just the next step. It's called "tolerance".
 
I don't think I oppose them but most of the time when I see that gay couple on Shameless I laugh. The white guy who's dating the fireman, that couple. Does that make me a bad person for being amused by them?

The only thing is it "ok" to bash nowadays is heterosexual white middle class men who descend from a bloodline of western European Tyrannical Majority who are responsible for the Oppression of the rest of the world.
 
Not approving of something and being prejudiced against something are two different things.

You can voice your opinion on just about anything provided you do it thoughtfully. Unfortunately this seems to be a bit of a forgotten art.

Please describe what form your disapproval of gay people takes.

Here are some hypothetical scenarios you could use when describing this disapproval:

1 - A (male or female) gay couple are holding hands while walking down the street.

2 - A gay couple are kissing in public.

3 - A gay couple are talking about their relationship in say a restaurant (not wrt sexual behaviour).

4 - A gay couple are getting married and they invite you to the wedding.

Elevenpog is just making sure we all know when the gay man comes to see him he will oppose the gay mans advances on him. Just so you all know elevenpog is not gay and hey if he can be not gay then so can everyone else.

I always wonder why if its so natural that gay people usually take on the traits of the opposite sex, men acting effeminate and woman acting masculine? Why would that be part of a natural change?
