Is it possible to never get sick?

Actually washing your hands constantly over your life will probably end up with you MORE sick. You don't let your body fight stuff off and you will have a weak immune system.

I rarely get sick. The last time I was seriously sick was in the 6th grade with pnemonia. Since then, I've only had little 24-hour things and I have gone several years without getting sick once.

Washing your hands constantly is probably bad. You'll rarely ingest the nasties, your immune system will get weak, then something will come along and your body won't be able to handle it.

Bathe once in a while. Avoid other people, particularly children. Stay h e double toothpicks away from children.

Don't eat food prepared by other people - that's the only reason I've gotten sick in the past few years.

Also good advice if you're in a position where you may be poisoned.

eat lots of vitamin C, pomagranite, broccoli, wheat grass, grape juice, promotes good all-around health, circulation, and a good immune system.

I used to get sick pretty often. Then I became a vegetarian (although organic meat plus ample fruits and veg would be the equivelant), became aware of all the chemicals in my home and found alternatives for 95% of them, started meditating regularly to reduce stress and started doing an annual 2-week detox fast on vegetable juice. I have been sick twice in 12-years since.

*edit: the meat thing is acutally important for your health because of the vast amounts of hormones, antibiotics and pesticides that are in meat (which aren't in a vegetarian diet), whcih will weaken your immune system. I don't know how accurate this is, but I have read that between 75% and 90% of the pesticides in the food supply are actually in meat, because they spray it onto the piles of grain that they feed the cattle to prevent insects from infesting it, then the cattle eat it, obviously. In addition, and there is no science to support this other than common sense, but consider the fear hormones that are released into the blood streams of the animals in the brutal way they are killed, that stuff will still be in the meat when you eat it, hypothetically. So when eating meat it is even more important than with fruit and veg that you eat organic as often as possible.

It's possible, but virtually impossible in the real world, since the process of getting sick is what enables our immune system to build immunity to said sickness.

I never take any OTC meds when I get sick. I've always just let my body take care of itself and now I very rarely get sick, even when people around me are coughing/sneezing it up.

The last time I remember ever being sick is when I was about 5 or 6. I'm 20 now. I don't really do anything special, except only wash my hands while leaving a bathroom. Oh, and I don't take any medication like I4AT, not even Tylenol or Advil. I haven't taken anything in 6 or 7 years.

Sometimes you just can't avoid being sick. There are sometimes people hacking/coughing all over in the train that I take to work.

Besides washing your hands constantly... are there any other things I can do to prevent getting sick?

I'd rather be occasionally sick than be OCD. But that's just me. 😉 I only get sick like once a year, and of those times, maybe only once in 5 years does it prevent me from doing my normal daily routines.
