Is it possible to migrate my iTunes library from a PC to a Mac?

Specifically, I'd like to keep track of my song ratings, play counts, and playlists. I mostly have smart playlists based on song rating and some ID3 tags, and I don't want to have to redo those.

Ideally it'd be nice if I could transfer all of my settings too, including sync settings for my iPhone and AppleTV.

dunno about settings, but if you copy your whole itunes directory, and plop in where itunes on OSX keeps it, you should be good. i usually do it after the first time running itunes.

i've moved my library back and forth and back this way while retaining everything.

but i'm paranoid, so I've also added to the comments of all my rated songs... 3.star, 4.star, etc etc. I use last.fm to track playcount, so that's all good, heh.

One problem is that my music isn't in my iTunes directory, it's on a different hard drive.

It looks like backing up to DVD is probably the way to go.

oh, well, that might be an issue. Tho, I believe you can change one of the preference files to remap where eveything is... eg, change d:\my music to Volume\OS X\user\my music. Pretty sure it was one of the xml files.

I've done that too before when I had my music in a different location. I just can't remember what I edited. On the flip side, since I had everything tagged, my organization really didn't matter... it was how itunes organizes anyway... I did a library consolidation and boom. Tho, I'm guessing this isn't an option for you.
