is it possible to make an AT->ATX converter cable?

might be able to get a 500mhz cruncher online, but I don't have a PSU for it, but i do have a bunch of AT psu's. Is there any way to get this to work? (I'm fine w/ chopping and soldering🙂)

I don't think so Silverthorne - that link would be good if had ATX power supplies and needed to hook them to AT boards, but he's got the opposite, and thus MDE has got it right.

I have seen solutions for Kenazo's scenario, but they've always been more expensive than getting an ATX power supply to begin with.

I might be able to send you an ATX P/S, if you don't need too much power for the setup. IIRC, it's a 145W ATX PS. I'll check tonight when I get home.

Nope, ATX boards need a 3.3V rail and AT PSUs are only 12V and 5V.
lol ,I've never noticed that!😱 ,I guess they get their 3.3v power from an onboard transformer
