Is it possible to make a dedicated game server?
Ideally, I'd like to dedicate a tower with 5 cd-drives each with a different game. Then I'd like to connect it to a LAN where anyone and only one(?) can play a game and not have access to either the CDs or the trays. You may have guessed, it's for kids.
I've posted this question here a few times over the past year, each time without a workable answer. I'll probably have to do like I've done in the past... just stick a cd drive in each pc and install game demos on the hdd. Anyway, it's better than what they've got at home. Too bad, the budget is there for a better solution, but giving kids expensive CDs that they can break, scratch or take home with them is not in the budget.
