So the one agp video card is for everything, but the other cheap pci vid card is soley for TV Out? Cause I don't want to switch displays whenever I want to use the TV Out to watch something...

Not required. All you need is a card that is ready for multi-VGA situations, and an operating system that supports it.

From experience, the PCI VGA card must not be too old (or at least be an old high-end card where these things were common for much longer), and it must not be an NVidia chip based PCI VGA card. Multi-VGA success rate with the latter is practically zero.

Use identical video cards if they are nVidia. Do not use two dissimilar nvidia video cards - their unified drivers get freaked having two different cards with one driver.

Other than that you can use just about any combination of two cards - same brand or not. Be sure to use the 1st PCI slot for the 2nd video card. Some mobo's get picky if you put it in a different PCI slot.

Go to digital blasphemy and get some of their dual-monitor wallpapers :)
