Is it possible to get rid of IE 5.5 in WinME and use 5.01?

Use the program 98Lite to separate IE from the OS, then install IE5.01

I too prefer 5.01. 5.5 is fine for WinME ... but for that matter, I guess Netscape 6 PR3 isn't too bad either.

MSEI 5.01plus sevice pack 1 can be obtain from the MS home page under search----this setup is most recommded over 5.5 by many forum hosts.Check out the following site About.com,it comments on Me,IE5.5 and IE5.01+service pack 1
