Hey guys, my pc doesn't have enough SATA power cables. I wanted to know if it's possible to extend a sata power cable and add another sata power pin thingy. Has anyone done this before?

From an electrical "theoretical" perspective, the answer is yes. There is a limit to the length of a SATA DATA cable because they carry very short fast data signals which can degrade over a long cable due to crosstalk, inductance and capacitance. But the POWER cable carries no such signals and is not subject to significant length limits.

Be aware that if you are going to homebrew PC power supply connectors, it may affect your homeowner's insurance.

So I tried doing this on an old unused pc and I got it to work, but on my current pc. I can't take apart the plastic connector. It's a foxconn connector and im afraid I might break it. Does anyone know how to take those apart?

You can get a female to male Sata power cable, in variable lengths. Just search around Newegg, Tiger Direct.
