None that I know of. You can always remove the keys that are in your way. Needle nose pliers work good.

Wire them up so that they deliver a shock to your finger when you touch them during game play. Eventually, you'll either learn to avoid them, or get to enjoy the feeling...

edit: My GOD that's an ugly-assed keyboard... First time I tried the link I closed the blank window after it spun for 20 seconds... This time it loaded up faster... Still, if there are drivers for the keyboard, try installing them and disable the keys you don't want to use... If no drivers, return it and get a better keyboard that won't cause you so many issues.

You might want to look at your services. Chances are that something is running to keep the mapping active, Like ATi's hot key poller. Just disable this service and all should be well...that is if it adds a service.

The keyboard runs most of the hotkeys without the included CD driver. Where can I find these "services"? I'll poke around in Windows tonight.

And thank you by the way!

mapped without software eh....something in there has to map those keys to the applications. Have you tried to install the software and look for any disable commands?

yes. And I read through all the company info I could find. I think Windows is driving the hotkeys. Where can I disable that?

With my Microsoft keyboard I can configure and disable those keys, but I think it's part of the drivers though.

SOLUTION:
Return it and buy this.

Seriously, why did you buy it if you weren't going to use all the extra stuff on it?

I bought it because I live in Japan, and it was the ONLY English keyboard I could find for sale in the country. ANY import parts are subject to lengthy delays and hefty duty/fees at customs - IF they let it in at all.
Answer the question?
So I take it that there simply is no way to solve my original question. Go the dicey import route.
