this is kind of an odd question, but I thought maybe ATOT might have some cruise ship aficionados. I've never even been on one myself.

next month, my boyfriend is going on a cruise with his friends for his birthday. I was invited, but for various reasons, I can't go (the chief reason is that I've got a huge work thing that week that I can't/don't want to get out of).

we're celebrating after he gets back, but I still feel bad that I'm missing his 30th birthday, though, and I'm trying to work out if there's anything I can do for him from afar... is it possible to like contact the cruise ship company and arrange for like something to get delivered to his room?

seems like it's the sort of thing that people would do, but I'm curious if ATOT has any insight into the process before I start contacting his friends to get all the details of his cruise.

In all seriousness, a man's best B-Day gift from his gal is a whole-day BJ event. Why give him something he might or might not care for instead of a gift that he will happily receive at any moment.

getting a blow job isn't a gift, it's a day ending in -y ;)

Yeah they have tons of store on there, with really good prices on stuff. I def suggest buying something on the ship or at the destination, since you can sometimes get shit evfen more cheap.

Also, no tax.

Just visit the web site of the cruise he's taking. All of them have stuff you can buy and have delivered to the room before he boards. There are the cheesy gift things but you can also buy bottles of liquor that can be waiting for him onboard (perhaps even on ice if the room steward is worth a damn).

Yes Loki, I have done exactly what you are asking about before. I just bought some credit , so the recipient could spend on an excursion or whatever they wanted too.

We've bought credits for our parents and had the cruise line apply them to their acct to b used on the boat. It's like giving them money...but was a nice surprise when they went to bar on the boat and found out it was already covered.

Contact the customer support line of the cruise line he is taking. Everytime I've needed anything from Royal Caribbean (the line I always take), they were very helpful and friendly. I've seen all sorts of specially arraigned things happen on a ship that clearly could never be paid for through a simple website.
